Happy New Year friends!

2025 has arrived in what feels like the blink of an eye. If your New Year's Resolution is to have more of a work life balance, there's so much to look forward to in Bristol and Bath this year. It might feel tempting to hunker down and wait for spring, but some of the best events in and around the two cities happen in the winter. So if you're looking to get outside a bit more this year, consider this your starting point to plan your social calendar!

Bristol Comedy Festival - 12th-25th January

Bristolians know how to have a good time and we're no strangers to throwing city-wide festivals. This year we have Bristol Comedy Club to thank for a brand new festival offering in the city, with perfect timing to banish the January blues. Featuring rising stars, TV favourites and everything in between, you're guaranteed to find something to bring a smile to your face this January.

Rebalance Bath - 30th January- 16th February

Back for another year, the ever popular ReBalance festival reminds visitors and residents of Bath to take a moment for their wellbeing. The three week festival features a full programme of events designed to encourage physical movement, support mental wellbeing and help participants reconnect with their bodies through a series of talks, workshops and fun events.

Bristol Light Festival - 31st January-9th February

The ever popular Bristol Light Festival is back to illuminate the dark nights for another year. Bristol Light Festival turns the city centre into a playground with a variety of installations in collaboration with local artists. From a light up swing set on College Green to a giant slinky on St Augustines Parade, Bristol Light Festival has become a firm favourite over the past few years. Following the trail around the city is the ideal way to make the most of the dark nights and boost your mood in the winter.
