Dinner With Bloggers!

*gifted experience

Hey Owlets!

One of the best things about being a blogger is getting to feel part of an amazingly supportive community. This community can usually be found hanging around on Twitter, but sometimes you get to spend time with the people that have supported your often random musings in person. Well, last week I got to do just that when we were invited for dinner at Cabot Circus. We were invited for a "Safari Supper Club" where basically we ate each course in a different restaurant. The idea was to show us some of the amazing restaurants in the centre as well as showcasing the Cabot Circus app to us which is a great place to get discounts in the restaurants around the centre.

Cabot Circus is one of the main shopping centres in Bristol. It's a place that's great for shopping but somewhere I don't get to visit as often as I'd like to because I'm usually travelling. Being invited there for dinner was great as it actually gave me an excuse to go there and do a bit of shopping before meeting everyone.

The lovely thing about blogging in a city like Bristol is that there's a pretty small community of local bloggers so we all know each other and it's rare to meet a Bristol blogger that I don't know. We started off with drinks and appetisers in Zizi. It's one of those places that I've always fancied going but never gotten round to, but it was super tasty and definitely somewhere I want to go back to!

We then headed over to Chimichanga. Now I'll admit that when I saw the itinerary for our dinner, Chimichanga wouldn't have been my first choice as I'm not a massive fan of Mexican food and I'm a wimp with spice. I order a paella as the waitress said it wasn't too spicy and I thought that'd be the safe option. I'm really glad I listened to her as it was super tasty and even I didn't think it was too spicy. I also had the tastiest pina colada that I've ever tried.

As part of the Summer Food Festival that Cabot circus are running, they have loads of amazing offers on the app. Just search the app store on either an Apple or Android device and download the Cabot Circus PLUS app and register. Then you can click on Eat and browse through some of the offers.

I never actually made it to dessert but the rest of the meal was amazing! Thank you so much to Cabot Circus for having us. Have you used the Cabot Circus app yet? Let me know what your favourite offer is in the comments below!
