4 Ways To Get The Best Broadband Deal

Hey Owlets,

Today's post is a guest post, helping you to get the best broadband deal.

There are some people out there that don’t watch TV, but I’m not one of them. Sure it must be great to read instead or talk to the people you live with, but with so much amazing content being created every single day, how can you miss out!? The trending topics on twitter, what everyone’s talking about at work, there are just so many captivating shows being made that you can’t not miss out on them. It means that I’ve been searching for the best possible broadband deal, to make sure that I can watch all of my favourites, and catch the latest shows and films that are released. Here’s 4 ways to get the best broadband deal:

Look Online

Looking online for deals is probably the easiest and the fastest, with comparison websites you can easily see if ee broadband beats Sky and vice versa. Comparing with the click of a button and being able to search by what channels you watch the most is definitely a great way to shop. Plus it means if you’re not good on the phone, or perhaps not good on your feed, you can shop in the comfort of your own home, at your own pace, without having to talk to anyone! Shopping online means you can also see what promotional deals are available and if there are any signing bonuses, that’s always a perk of finding the best broadband deal!

For example right now you can get ee broadband for as little as £21 a month, but depending on the speed you’d want, it could be up to £36 a month. On any plan that is £26 and above, you get a EE Mobile offer, how great is that?

Shop Around

As I touched on before, you definitely need to be shopping around. Try using comparison websites as well as the website of the broadband provider you’re looking at. Grab a notepad and a pen so that you can write down any deals you’re thinking about to compare them to one's you find later. You might not want to seal the deal that same day either, keep checking to see if anything changes over the course of a couple days. Perhaps wait for black friday, Boxing day, or any other occasions where sales and offers seem to be better.

Ring Up

Sometimes ringing up and asking directly can be easier, it just depends on what type of person you are. Ringing up means you’ll have to have the offers and promotions read out to you, and you can only talk to one provider at a time. So that might be a little more difficult.

Go In Store

Again this won’t be an option for everyone, but for some people to talk to a person in store and in person is how they prefer to communicate. Haggle away, laugh, joke, and become friends with the person offering you the deal. You never know what they may throw in!
